About This Project

Design based on Jean Nouvel, the 2008 Pritzker Architecture Prize Laureate. The design took inspiration from the apertures in Nouvel’s Institut du Monde Arab in Paris. The letters of his name were layered to create the apertures that work with the text on the following pages. Cards highlighting Nouvel’s most important architecture builds and inspiration behind those builds were designed to work individually and collectively. A book on Nouvel’s history and a poster on Nouvel’s acceptance speech of the 2008 Pritzker Prize award are enclosed in a transparent acrylic box inspired by Nouvel’s Cultural and Conference Center in Lucerne.
